STEMFest 2022
A Month-Long Celebration of STEM Events, Activities and Challenges.Millburn Education Foundation is honoring science, technology, engineering and math with STEMFest 2022. During the month of March, we're hosting four STEM-related competitions for K-12 students that are sure to challenge their busy minds. We hope you'll join us in this month-long celebration!
Chess Tournament
Millburn Students can test their mettle against their peers in a Virtual Chess Tournament on March 5 at 3pm. Novice Level for beginners and Open Level for intermediate and above. Prizes will be awarded to the top 3 in each division. Registration Opens Feb 15 and closes March 3 at midnight.
Math Contest
Millburn Students of all ages can sign up for our Math Contest where they'll be able to put their mathematical problem solving skills to work! Recognition will be given to the top 5 winners in each age group and additional prizes will be received by the top 3 winners in each level. Registration Opens Feb 15 and closes March 10 at midnight.
Coding Challenge
For all of our tech kids out there, we have a coding challenge that was created by a panel of industry pros. Teams of 1-4 Millburn Students can sign up to participate. Prizes will be awarded to the top 3 teams in each level. Registration Opens Feb 15 and closes March 13 at midnight.
Eco Challenge
The Millburn Green Team is helping us bring a fun environmental challenge to Millburn Students. Teams of 1-4 Millburn Students can sign up! Prizes will be awarded to the top 3 teams in each level. Registration Opens Feb 15 and closes March 13 at midnight.
ABOUT
Since 1993, the Millburn Education Foundation has partnered with our generous community members, dedicated volunteers and the Millburn School District to gift over $3 million to Millburn Public Schools. In a typical year, the District struggles to make difficult budget choices and traditionally turns to the MEF to pilot innovative programming and equipment. Millburn Education Foundation is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization.
